Training camp for the Detroit Red Wings has concluded after yesterday's Red & White game, and General Manager Steve Yzerman has trimmed the roster for the final time.

With the conclusion of yesterday's Red & White game, training camp is over.
Before the yearly competition between the roster in Van Andel Arena, Steve Yzerman made some final decisions on who to send home before main camp begins.
The Detroit Red Wings roster has been trimmed.
General Manager Steve Yzerman has been in the inevitable spot to make the tough decisions.
Of course, sending players down to the AHL and back to their minor league clubs is a tough scenario, but it's the job.
The Detroit Red Wings trimmed the roster by 11 players this past Saturday:
Forward Kevin Bicker was reassigned to Löwen Frankfurt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In addition, forwards Grayden Robertson-Palmer, defenseman Will Murphy, and goaltenders Landon Miller and Michal Pradel were sent to their respective junior clubs. Defenseman Nicklas Andrews was released from his professional tryout and will report to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.

The team would release forwards Vincent Collard and Liam Kilfoil, with defenseman Maxim Dirracolo, Wyatt Kennedy, and Carl-Otto Magnusson from their ATOs (Amateur Tryouts).

The Detroit Red Wings Head Into Main Camp With More Cuts To Follow

The Detroit Red Wings head into main camp with 51 players left on the roster, including 28 forwards and 17 defensemen, plus six goaltenders.
You could've seen the players who are competing for a spot on the roster in yesterday's Red & White Game, which saw Team White defeat Team Red in a shootout victory, 3-2.
Other notable players remaining on the roster after yesterday: Carter Mazur, Michael Brandsegg-Nygard, Carter Bear, John Leonard, and Amadeus Lombardi.
With roster spots open for grabs, we should see the next few weeks remain competitive with these players in the mix.
