The Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin smashed an impressive career milestone on Tuesday night against the St. Louis Blues.

The Detroit Red Wings have managed to keep their momentum going to start their five-game road trip by winning 5-2 against the St. Louis Blues last night, despite being without one of their top scorers, Patrick Kane.
The former Chicago Blackhawks forward has been away from the lineup for over a week now and hasn't traveled with the team on their ongoing trip.
Last night, he had an impressive night, reaching a significant career milestone.

Dylan Larkin Reaches Impressive Career Milestone

So far, Larkin has been among the best players in the whole National Hockey League this season, with 16 points, including eight goals, in 10 games.
In points, he's tied with several NHL stars, such as Macklin Celebrini, William Nylander, and Cale Makar.
In goals, he ranks fifth, with Nathan MacKinnon, Jack Hughes, Pavel Dorofeyev, and Cole Caufield tied at nine goals.
Last night, he tallied two goals and an assist. His second goal of the night was a big one; it was the 250th goal of his career.
He's the eighth player from Michigan to reach that mark and joined an elite group of players for his offensive contributions:
After the 5-2 win in St. Louis, Larkin, despite being the star of the game, showed his biggest quality: leadership.
"A really good start to the trip. I think a good road game out of our team. That's something that we've been looking to do. The third point is a total team win. All the lines were good, all the 'D' pairs played really solid, and [John Gibson] was great. We had a great third period. A lot of positives and a really good way to start the trip."

Larkin plays like a captain who wants to inspire his teammates and get the team back to the playoffs. He will be back on the ice tomorrow against the Los Angeles Kings.
