Tickets for the Jackets/Red Wings outdoor game in sale soon

Blue Jackets and Red Wings fans, get ready for an exciting opportunity: tickets for the franchise's first outdoor game are about to go on sale!
The game against the Detroit Red Wings on March 1 at Ohio Stadium is part of the NHL's annual stadium series events. Presale tickets will be available starting Tuesday for full-season ticket holders, with fans holding partial plans gaining access beginning August 6. According to a Blue Jackets release, tickets will be offered to the general public "later this year."
Since the matchup announcement in February, the team has received "more than 122,000 ticket requests." Presale availability ends at 11:59 p.m. on August 11, and securing tickets now requires purchasing a full or partial ticket plan for the 2024-25 season.
This announcement coincides with a busy offseason for the Blue Jackets, who recently appointed Don Waddell as president of hockey operations and general manager in late May, and introduced Dean Evason as the franchise's 11th head coach on Tuesday.
