Major announcement coming out of the NHL as the Carolina Hurricanes have selected Eric Tulsky as the new general manager.

Tulsky has been acting as interim general manager until Don Waddell resigned from the job last season, and now the Carolina Hurricanes are trusting Tulsky to get the job done. With over $23 million dollars over of free cap space to work with this off-season, Tulsky is entering the position with no shortage of work to be done.
"Eric is ready for this opportunity, said owner Tom Dundon. "He has a proven history of managing people and overseeing operations both outside of hockey and over the last decade with the Hurricanes. His dedication, work ethic, and attention to detail make him the ideal candidate to become our next general manager. Everything we do here is collaborative, and Eric will work closely with Darren Yorke, Rod Brind'Amour, and our leadership team to continue building a championship-caliber hockey club."

After yet another disappointing second round exit from the 2024 NHL playoffs, Tulsky will look to add key pieces to bolster the Carolina Hurricanes squad.
