Back in action tonight are the Detroit Red Wings, hosting their former rival Chicago Blackhawks at Little Caesars Arena (7:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).
Per Ansar Khan of MLive, the Red Wings, who have won 5-straight games under new head coach Todd McLellan, will be skating with the following line combinations for tonight's game:
Kasper - Larkin - Raymond
DeBrincat - Copp - Kane
Berggren - Compher - Tarasenko
Rasmussen - Veleno - Motte
Chiarot - Seider
Edvinsson - Johansson
Gustafsson - Holl
The power play units are as follows:
1. DeBrincat (net front), Larkin (bumper), Raymond-Kane (flanks), Seider (point).
2. Rasmussen (net front), Compher (bumper), Kasper-Tarasenko (flanks), Gustafsson (point).
The line combinations are the same as yesterday's practice session in which Marco Kasper was elevated to the top line alongside captain Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond, while Joe Veleno was transferred to the 4th line alongside Michael Rasmussen and Tyler Motte.
Kasper will get a chance to spread his offensive wings a bit playing with Larkin and Raymond, two of Detroit's top producers.
Back in November, the Red Wings defeated the Blackhawks 4-1 at United Center
Both Dylan Larkin and Alex DeBrincat each scored while adding an assist; the Red Wings also got goals from Joe Veleno and Andrew Copp.
