Team USA announced its roster for the 2026 Olympics, confirming Dylan Larkin's selection while also revealing the snubs of two other Detroit Red Wings players.

There was very little doubt surrounding the fact that we should see Dylan Larkin play for the United States in the upcoming Olympic Games, set to go down in February in Milan-Cortina.
Last year, at the 4-Nations Face-Off, the Detroit Red Wings captain only tallied two points in four games but has been among the top offensive producers in the NHL so far this season, with 38 points in 42 games.
However, the official announcement from Team USA also confirmed that two other Red Wings members won't get the opportunity to represent the U.S.

Team USA Snubs Alex DeBrincat And Patrick Kane From Olympics Roster

The Minnesota Wild and Team USA general manager Bill Guerin had the tough assignment of building a team that would defend the U.S. honor after the tough loss to Canada at the 4-Nations.
"We're excited about our team and congratulate everyone named today. It was incredibly difficult for our management group to get to the final roster and that's a credit to so many in our country, including all those at the grassroots level who help make our sport so strong. There's nothing like the Olympics and I know our players and staff will represent our country well and work hard to achieve our ultimate goal." - Bill Guerin
