Good support for Nejdelkovic in blowout win

In a dominating performance at the World Championship in Ostrava, Czechia, Brady Tkachuk and Matt Boldy led the United States to a 10-1 victory over Kazakhstan.

Tkachuk scored a hat trick and added an assist, while Boldy got six points with two goals and four assists. The U.S. team heavily outshot Kazakhstan 58-14, with former Detroit Red Wings goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic making 13 saves from 14 shots.
The Americans have outshot their past two opponents by a combined margin of 115-35, showing their offensive power. With this win, the U.S. stands at 4-0-1-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) with 13 points, placing them second in Group B behind Sweden, who has 15 points. The U.S. will finish the preliminary round against Latvia on Tuesday.
Other notable performances included Johnny Gaudreau with five points (one goal, four assists) and Zach Werenski, who had three assists. Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry contributed with an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-1 rating in 12:50 of ice time. Kazakhstan's record dropped to 1-0-0-5 with three points following the loss.
