Fans furious as college basketball delays start of Red Wings Stadium Series game

The start of the Detroit Red Wings' Stadium series against the Columbus Blue Jackets has been delayed thanks to college basketball.
The Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets were scheduled to drop the puck a few minutes after 6:00 PM in the 1st ever Stadium Series game played at Ohio Stadium.
But thanks to a college basketball game, the start time has been pushed back to 6:35 PM. Additionally, the start of the game will be broadcast on ESPN News and ESPN+ until the end of the basketball game between Alabama and Tennessee; the game will then move back to ESPN.
The announcement by ESPN did not go over well with fans, who blasted the network for their priorities.
Been stuck on a «Commercial Break» screen for the last five minutes on ESPN+. Fuck this network.

So embarrassing for the league. @NHL_On_TNT should get all the events and big games. ESPN is not a true hockey network.

I was so excited when ESPN won the rights to hockey back, but all you've been is a disgrace. Just hand it all over to TNT-at least they actually give a s**t about hockey.
Tried watching the pregame on ESPN+ and they've been on a 10min «commercial break»
Terrible scheduling!? Why not start the NCAA game at 3:30 to allow for a buffer?! If this is such a premier event you need to give its proper intro and time slot. @NHL
