Forward Lucas Raymond ultimately disrespected by the NHL during latest statement and the Red Wings responded

The NHL seems to lack sense when it comes to ranking forwards who are under 25. The Detroit Red Wings may not have a 100-point forward in the lineup, but that's only because he's not there yet.

On a list released by the NHL, they listed ten forwards under 25 who are the best in the league, with Lucas Raymond surprisingly absent.

While Boldy has been a prolific forward in the Wild's lineup, he doesn't have the production in the NHL that Raymond has.

In 82 games, Boldy scored 73 points (27-46) and was a 2nd-liner in Minnesota. While Wyatt Johnston has been an exclusive 2nd-line center in Dallas, but nowhere near as good as Raymond with 71 points (33-38).

Raymond has already been snubbed by players who are nowhere near the kind of player he is.

Raymond has played on the 1st-line in Detroit, centered by Captain Dylan Lakin, and has been a reliable contributor in the Red Wings lineup.

He was almost a point-per-game player, scoring 80 (27-53) in 82 games with the Wings, who have playoff hopes for the 2025-26 season.

The former 4th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft is obviously pushed by biases dominating the NHL to this day.

Whether by team or nationality, Raymond deserves his due for being one bright spot in the Red Wings' lineup.
