Adding to the misery for Detroit that was the 1st period against the Dallas Stars, the Red Wings have now apparently lost Patrick Kane to an undisclosed injury.
Nothing went right for the Detroit Red Wings in the 1st period of tonight's game against the Dallas Stars.
Not only did they fail to convert on an early power play opportunity just moments into the game, but they also gifted the Stars the 1st goal of the night thanks to a terrible turnover from Alex DeBrincat.
After more sloppy defense led to another pair of Stars goals to make it 3-0, the Red Wings lost Patrick Kane to an undisclosed injury.
UPDATE: The good news for the Red Wings is that while Kane didn't play the final few minutes of the first period, he was able to return during the second period.
