Sabres are after one of the Red Wings top defenseman
According to recent reports, the Sabres have their eye on Shayne Gostisbehere as he is set to become a free agent on July 1st.
Gostisbehere is a great offensive defenseman that had 56 points in 80 games this season but has had some issues defensively as he finished with a -16 +/- rating.
In 81 games played with Detroit this year, Gostisbehere scored 10 goals and registered 46 assists for 56 points. Even though he was a -16 during the year, I think Kevyn Adams should try to sign him. - Jezorio
The Wings defenseman is coming off a 1 year contract worth $4.125 million in Detroit and as they have yet to confirm if they have an interests in re-signing him, he will likely have multiple calls due to his productive season.
