The Red Wings took on the ice against the Bruins at the Little Caesars Arena, which lead to a horrifying incident and it has been suggested we can expect a suspension on the loom to defenseman Nikita Zadorov following an incident with Jonatan Berggren.
On Saturday, March 29, the Boston Bruins travelled to Detroit to face-off against the Red Wings for an original six matchup, both teams in dire need of a win amidst a tight Eastern Conference playoff push.
As both teams are hungry for a win, tensions were flaring between two former rivals, which concluded in an outrageous hit in the games second period.
The Boston Bruins' Nikita Zadorov laid a dirty hit on the Red Wings' Jonatan Berggen, which would ultimately lead to Detroit heading to a power-play, earning them their second goal of the game for a two goal lead.
However, the hit Berggen endured was nothing less than brutal, as this forward didn't even have position of the puck when Zadorov tossed him into the boards.

Uncalled for is an absolute understatement for this incident, and this is definitely not the first time for the Boston Bruins' Zadorov as had it out for the Detroit Red Wings.
Another Nikita Zadorov suspension incoming
The newly traded defenseman, Zadorov, has a history of suspensions due to his lack of respect to his opponents.
Just this past February, he received a two-game suspension when the player was in Vancouver's roster, for making an illegal hit to the head to the Red Wings' Lucas Raymond.
Although there is no confirmation whether or not the Boston Bruins' defenseman will receive a suspension, we can definitely expect it due to his liable past and ongoing carelessness on the ice.
