Bruins captain Brad Marchand Is out do to a hit and sucker punch from Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett during game 3. Marchand Has been ruled as day to day as they continue to assess his health.

The play appeared to be a simple hit to the shoulder and possible neck, but after watching the replay it clearly shows Bennett using his glove with the butt end of his stick to punch Marchand in the face.
Boston coach Jim Montgomery said Marchand is day-to-day with an upper-body
injury, but was upset about the hit and apparent punch from Sam Bennett — adding there's a history with him and «evidence of what went on.

Bruins looking to get back into the series

Marchand has had two assists thus far in the Florida series after running up the points against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Round One. The Bruins have been struggling to find their game after controlling game one in a surprising victory. As many pundits expected, the Panthers are beginning to control the series and control the play on the ice.
The Bruins will look to get back on track as game 4 will be held on May 12 and game time will be 6:30 PM eastern.
