Crosby makes interesting remarks regarding next contract
Penguins legendary captain Sidney Crosby recently spoke on his next contract as he is entering the last year of his deal.
Crosby told reporters he is in no rush to sign a new deal as he knows the two parties will come to an agreement. Crosby has made it clear he wants to retire a Penguin and after all he has done for the franchise they will surely give him a solid offer.
Eyebrows were raised when the Penguins did not announce a contract extension for Sidney Crosby on July 1, and there isn't one expected this week. Word is that while both sides are in conversation, there is no rush from Crosby's side. Read into that however you want.
Unfortunately Crosby's career will likely come to a bitter end in Pittsburgh as the Penguins are far from being a cup contender and will not be for at least a few years.
