Notorious agitator Brad Marchand chirps at Paul Bissonnette following his assault in Arizona by six criminals
After former NHL player and current analyst/podcaster Paul Bissonnette was assaulted by six criminals in Arizona, Bruins captain Brad Marchand delivered a (good-natured) chirp his way during a live interview.
Former NHL forward and current popular podcaster/analyst Paul Bissonnette was the victim of assault by six criminals at Houston's Restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona earlier in the week.
According to police reports, Bissonnette was intervening after the aforementioned men began to verbally and physically harass the restaurant staff.
They've since been taken into police custody and charged with disorderly conduct and assault.
During a recent live interview with Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, he quipped about the incident when Bissonnette brought up the subject of his hair:
Did one of the offseason surgeries include a Turkish hair transplant? You're looking a little less thin up top, it looks great!
Marchand responded:
I just try to look like the guys that beat the wheels off you the other night.
The good-natured quip drew laughter from everyone, including Bissonnette.
Shortly after the assault, the popular analyst vowed that he was going to go after those responsible and seek retribution.
Thankfully the cops were called right away while the thing was going on in Houston's.
And by the time the altercation was done, [police] were able to book five [or six] of these guys whether it was in the county jail or the local jail - and I'll get their names boys and this is gonna be a thing.
I'll go after every single one of those f-ks for not only going after this unbelievable staff.
