Now, there is an arms race among NHL teams to acquire the sniper's services. According to Josh Wegman of The Score, there are five teams in particular that are at the top of the pack when it comes to getting Laine. Those teams may just surprise you. And no, the Detroit Red Wings are not one of them.
As Wegman explains, the five teams in question are the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Colorado Avalanche, the Las Vegas Golden Knights, the Seattle Kraken, and the Buffalo Sabres. That said, Wegman argues the Penguins are the runaway favorites right now.
