A trade between the Red Wings and Seattle Kraken accelerates for Brandon Tanev

A 500-game veteran's name has been floating around social media as of late, as his organization looks as though they're in desperate need for a trade.

Brandon Tanev, a left winger for the Seattle Kraken is seemingly available with an incredible offer.

As the trade deadline race continues, Detroit has held a current cap space of $13 million, leaving the team with more than enough room for a new and improved player to take this team to a new extreme.

With a total of 59 games played this 2024/25 season thus far, and a whopping 532 throughout the duration of his career, this veteran might just bring this organization the knowledge they need to elevate their overall strength and success.

However, the Detroit Red Wings general manager, Steve Yzerman, is heavily known for keeping quiet until his moves are completed, but by the looks of it, Tanev is a strong competitor with a huge fan base and would be worth bringing into the Red Wings' roster, but only time will tell.

Tanev would fill the void of missing forwards Andrew Copp, and Michael Rasmussen following a devastating update on his health.

With unbelievable heart and drive portrayed by this 33-year old, and Seattle willing to retain 50% of his cap hit in order to make a trade happen, Detroit would be crazy to discard this opportunity.
