Pavel Datsyuk, a former Detroit Red Wing, held his "Magic Game" match on Saturday in Yekaterinburg, which saw Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals steal the show with this sick move.
The game was featured on Match TV, and the starring cast included Ilya Kovalchuk and Alex Ovechkin.
However, we'd have expected Datsyuk to steal the show, but it was Ovechkin all along.

The Washington Capitals forward would pull off a filthy goal against the opposition, between the legs, and to the right of the goalie.
He'd capitalize on the breakaway and would create the storybook finish on the fly.
This was a thrilling goal in a fun and exciting game, which saw Ovechkin dominate easily. In addition to his between-the-legs goal, he scored a hat-trick.
For Ovechkin, this was more than just an honor to play in the Magic Game.

While Pavel Datysuk would get the honor deserved from such an effort, seeing past NHL stars gather for the "Magic Man".
While the former Red Wings forward remains retired, Ovechkin will return to North America for another season with the retooling Washington Capitals after a record breaking season.
