Detroit Red Wings legend Chris Chelios spotted in Happy Gilmore 2 cameo alongside another familiar face

Happy Gilmore 2 is making the headlines for different reasons other than it being a high-rated movie, and it involves a Detroit Red Wings legend by the name of Chris Chelios.
There were several hockey references in the Adam Sandler fan-favorite movie, including a heartfelt tribute to Johnny Gaudreau.
Sander donned an Ice House Hockey jersey which had the number 13 on it, a respectful and subtle gesture to Johnny Gaudreau.

Sean Avery and Chris Chelios spotted by hockey fans in Happy Gilmore 2 movie
The Johnny Gaudreau heartfelt tribute was not the only NHL cameo within the movie, and hockey fans may have missed this one of former enforcer Sean Avery and Red Wings legend Chris Chelios.
"Sean Avery and Chris Chelios had a brief cameo in 'Happy Gilmore 2' serving as a gangster's henchmen."
Chelios and Avery both acted as bodyguards of a gangster in an olden-days type of scene.
This is not the only time former New York Rangers forward Sean Avery was in a cameo in a movie; he has acted in Oppenheimer, Amsterdam, Lioness, Mile 22, Patriots day and several others.
With only 90 goals tallied up throughout Avery's 580 NHL games, he has found a more productive role off-ice it seems.
