Dylan Larkin issues telling statement about Red Wings' recent win streak

The Detroit Red Wings have put together their second 7-game win streak in under 20 games, and Dylan Larkin gets real about how the team has been able to do so.
With their 5-4 shootout win over the Seattle Kraken earlier this week, the Detroit Red Wings picked up their 7-straight victory. It also marks the 1st time in team history that the club has a pair of 7-straight winning streaks inside of 20 games.
Since Todd McLellan took over behind the bench for the terminated Derek Lalonde on December 26, the Red Wings have gone 15-4-1.
Captain Dylan Larkin, who has 12 points (5G, 7A) in his last 11 games, has noted a difference in the pair of 7-game winning streaks.
I saw the other day with the two seven-game winning streaks, it's been like a tale of two different teams. The first one was (predominately) the power play and a few guys really taking charge. This one we're on now, it's been by committee and that feels sustainable.
With the way we've been playing and how our line is playing, before Christmas I remember thinking just maybe trying to get there (in the schedule), grinding mentally to get there and something to look forward to. The way the guys have responded post-Christmas and the way things are going, you almost don't want to stop when you get on a roll like this.

Larkin had gone through a prolonged scoring slump before McLellan's hiring
Before McLellan's hiring, Larkin had scored 26 points (12G, 14A) in 34 games. But since the coaching change was made, Larkin's offense has been boosted.
Larkin has 24 points (11G, 13A) in his last 20 games, while teammate Lucas Raymond has 25 points (8G, 17A) in 20 games (he previously had 33 points in 34 games).
