A former Detroit Red Wings forward, Jakub Vrana, appears to be getting his hands in hot water in the Swedish Hockey League with his new team, Linkoping HC.

At the start of the 2022 NHL season, Vrana and his time with the Red Wings organization came to an end when he entered the NHL's Player Assistance Program.
Vrana knew he needed help, but it was a tough thing to break to general manager Steve Yzerman at the time.
''I actually went (to see) Steve Yzerman,'' Vrana shared with Zimakpodcast.cz in his native Czechia. ''I completely walked up the stairs to his office. And I was completely at a loss as to how I was going to tell him.''

Since battling off-ice issues many years ago, the 29-year-old forward has failed to play more than 26 games in a single season at the NHL level.
This led to his lack of interest in the free agent market this past summer and later to his signing with Linkoping in the Swedish Hockey League.
With multiple reported issues in the past with his former teams, but no confirmation of the incidents, it appears Vrana and his new head coach are butting heads.
According to a recent report from Detroit Hockey Now, the former 2014 first-round, 13th overall draft selection by the Washington Capitals is in hot water once again.
"Vrana In Hot Water Again

Trouble and Jakub Vrana seem to be attracted to each other. The former Red Wings forward has already been benched and has been a healthy scratch this season with his new club, Linköping.

There were reports that he's feuding with the coaching staff, and Vrana even had to admit that he attempted to broker a trade to Brynas."
