The Detroit Red Wings are wrapping up their road swing tonight against the Seattle Kraken, and head coach Todd McLellan has confirmed a key lineup change as they go for their 7th-straight win.

The Detroit Red Wings wrap up their 4-game road trip tonight with their 2nd and final game this year against the Seattle Kraken (10:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).

For the Red Wings, they'll be going for their 7th-straight win and gain even further ground in the standings, which now sees them in a Wild Card postseason spot.

Head coach Todd McLellan has confirmed that it will be goaltender Cam Talbot returning to the crease tonight for the Red Wings:

Talbot returns to the net for the 1st time since backstopping the Red Wings to victory against his former team, the Calgary Flames, earlier in the week.

The Red Wings have gotten strong goaltending out of both Talbot and Lyon, the latter of whom made a season-best 45 saves in Detroit's 3-2 shootout win over the Oilers.

Talbot is in his 1st year with the Red Wings after agreeing to a 2-year contract after playing last year with the Los Angeles Kings.

Meanwhile, Lyon is in the midst of his 2nd year with the club; he can become an unrestricted free agent when this year comes to a close.

Right now, there's been no indication from general manager Steve Yzerman on whether Lyon will be offered a new short-term contract, or if they'll allow highly-touted prospect goaltender Sebastian Cossa try and earn a full-time role with the club for next year.
