Red Wings' Patrick Kane fans enter panic mode after recent injury update: 'Officially nervous for him'
According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, we should expect Patrick Kane to be out longer than expected, and fans are entering panic mode.
The Detroit Red Wings are without top-six forward Patrick Kane in the lineup. The former 59-point forward and three-time Stanley Cup champion has been a staple in Detroit hockey since he's arrival in 2023-24.
His first year here, he'd score 47 points (20-27) and would return to form last season, scoring 59 points (21-38).
Now, Detroit Free Press reporter Helene St. James has startling news on forward Patrick Kane.
The Detroit Red Wings Will Not Have Patrick Kane For the Next Two Games
The Red Wings are currently on a West Coast road trip, and the next two games will be against the Anaheim Ducks, led by his former Coach, Joel Quenneville, and the Los Angeles Kings.
According to Helene St. James, the forward
will be unavailable for today's game against the Los Angeles Kings and against the Ducks on Halloween Night on the West Coast.
The team is 2nd in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 7-3-0, and despite their resilience, it'd be nice if they could have forward Kane back in the lineup.
Kane had been a point-per-game player in his last 5 games with the Red Wings (2-3).
The three-time Stanley Cup-winning forward signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Red Wings in the summer.
