Patrick Kane completed a historic milestone in Tuesday night's game against the Boston Bruins.

The Detroit Red Wings found their way back to victory after a four-game losing streak last night against the Boston Bruins.
Multiple key players took charge of things, with Moritz Seider scoring three points and Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, and Lucas Raymond scoring two.
But Kane's performance is the one to grab headlines, as he tied an impressive record among American NHLers.

Patrick Kane Ties Mike Modano's Record With Two Assists Against Boston Bruins

Indeed, last night, Kane's two-point tally was the 385th multi-point game of his career, tying Mike Modano's record for an American player:
Kane is also on watch to beat Modano's point record.
The former NHLer tallied 1,374 points in his career. Kane currently has 1,359, only 15 points shy of being named the top American scorer of all time.
"The end is coming here soon. I knew years ago that he might be one -- that if he stayed healthy, that he would be the guy that kind of goes after it. Obviously, he's had a phenomenal career and is one of the best ever."

"If they ask me to be there, yeah. I'd love to be there and definitely would make the effort to be there for that one. That would be a great milestone, and to see it done would be pretty cool."

With 16 points in 18 games so far this season, Kane is on pace to reach Modano's mark this season, possibly even in January.
This will be one of the most interesting storylines to follow.
