On X, a fan shared a story of someone who paid $300 for a jersey online.
The problem is that the lettering wasn't sewn, which shouldn't happen when purchasing directly from the official shop of any organization in any sport.
Multiple reactions emerged online afterward. Notably, the Grind Line Podcast shared their opinion, saying they would be fuming to pay such a high price for an official jersey without the numbers or the nameplate:
"I'd be fuming. To charge over $300 for an official jersey and not sew the lettering on, or at least have them sewn, then shipped in, should not be the standard. Jerseys that come from the Team Store should be the best quality you can buy."
