Terrible update released on ex-Detroit Red Wings defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere
Former Red Wings defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, who leads the Hurricanes in points by a defenseman, has been hurt and he won't be playing any time soon.
The Detroit Red Wings are missing defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere in major way, as he was one of the key elements not only of their power play but of their offense as a whole.
And now, the Carolina Hurricanes are missing him, literally.
He was hurt in Carolina's game on Sunday, wasn't able to play yesterday, and he won't be available to the team for an undetermined amount of time.
Perhaps his most memorable moment in his 1st and only year with the Red Wings was when he stopped a clearing attempt by the Montreal Canadiens late in regulation in game No. 81; Lucas Raymond scored seconds later.
