Red Wings.
Since then, the team has won a total of 11 Stanley Cups and has had a laundry list of superstars and Hockey Hall of Famers move through the organization.
With a deep history in the NHL, they will be celebrating their 100th birthday in multiple ways, and this one involves the fans.

Of course, the logo is already a throwback to the winged wheel design that was originally used in the 30s.
The design was based on the 1934 version of the logo, according to the Red Wings' official site, and updated accordingly for this season.
Along with the iconic winged wheel making a re-appearance in the NHL with the classic red and white color scheme. The Detroit Cougars "D", which we've seen in a Winter Classic game as a crest, will make its comeback.
