The Detroit Red Wings are desperate to break their postseason absence and in order to do so, some player's are going to have to sit back and watch, including Detroit's net-minder, Alex Lyon.

The Red Wings take on the ice against the Florida Panthers on Sunday, April 6, at the Little Caesar's Arena, and with the intent to avoid past mistakes, the organization is taking a strong approach in their lineup for this make or break game.
Despite some Red Wings player's sitting this one out, one specific player has learned his fate within the organization.

Cam Talbot learns his fate in Detroit

It was revealed this morning by an NHL insider that the team's goaltender, Cam Talbot, will be the face of the net on Sunday.
Later, NHL.com dropped the Detroit Red Wings' projected lineup against the Florida Panthers:

The Detroit Red Wings are still capable of squeezing their way into the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference (just six points away), and the organization has shown they are determined to make it.
