Despite recent struggles in term of injuries, the Vancouver Canucks managed to stay alive in the playoffs as they are heading to Game 7 versus the Edmonton Oilers. According to recent reports, Filip Hronek is dealing with an elbow injury which explains more his mediocre performance in the playoffs.

Before the last game, it was mentioned Hronek was playing through an elbow issue.

He finished the season with 48 points in total including 43 assists and 5 goals. Also an excellent plus/minus of 33. Since the playoffs started, the regression has been clear as he has now a -4 rating and he's had been considered a non-factor during the playoffs.
On Saturday, he had one assist and 3 hits but finished with a -2 rating in the 5-1 loss versus the Oilers.
He still managed to have an incredible season as the 2nd best defensemen on the team. He will be a restricted free agent this summer and seeks a 8M apparently. He will most likely re-sign with the Canucks, but his playoff performance might affect his market value specially if Vancouver is eliminated tonight.
