Worrying update released on American forward Brady Tkachuk

Tomorrow night features the finale of the 4 Nations Faceoff, and it will either be the Canadians or Americans who emerge on top of the pile in what has proven to be a competitive endeavor for the NHL.

None of the games have been taken lightly, and there's been fierce action - including the heart-pounding physical play that set the tone for the American 3-1 win over Canada on Saturday night.

Both teams face one another in the title game tomorrow night, though the Americans are already not going to be at full strength. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy has recently been hospitalized, worrying fans of the Boston Bruins about his health beyond the 4 Nations Faceoff.

Additionally, American forward Brady Tkachuk did not practice earlier today; he left Monday's 2-1 loss to Sweden after appearing to get hurt in the 1st period.

But the good news is that according to head coach Mike Sullivan, Brady is expected to be able to play.

Brady Tkachuk, who has been known for his on-ice physical prowess as the Ottawa Senators' captain, threw out plenty of physical punishment in the American 3-1 win over Canada on Saturday, including a bone-crushing hit against Drew Doughty as well as a fight against Sam Bennett.
