Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat knows that he and his teammates have to put everything they've got into the next several games if they want to make the playoffs.
It's going to be a dog fight for the Detroit Red Wings from this point on until the end of the year. Currently 2 points out of the final Wild Card playoff spot in the East, the Red Wings play the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night (7:00 PM, FanDuel Sports Detroit, 97.1 The Ticket).

I think we have to know we're going to make mistakes and we're not going to shut out every team, that's not the expectation. You're going to make mistakes but don't repeat them and try to manage the game as much as possible.
DeBrincat has been hot for the Red Wings, having already reached the 30-goal mark after scoring 27 last year.
