Steve Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings should work on finding a replacement for Vladimir Tarasenko in the offseason and have a couple of options in Anthony Mantha and Jeff Skinner.

With a dismal 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists) season for Vladimir Tarasenko, there remain concerns about his future prospects with the Red Wings.
The two-time Stanley Cup champion was brought in to add extra scoring depth, but failed to do so. Instead, he'd find himself producing at a rate that third-liners typically do, and would give the fans and front office pause in regards to his abilities.
While he could recover from his 2024-2025 downturn, he has another year left on his deal with the Red Wings.
The team could utilize Tarasenko as a trade chip and find another player to fill the role in the lineup. There are multiple players who could be available in 2025 to call in on as far as offers and trades go.

Joel Armia, Montreal Canadiens

While Joel Armia can't produce like prime Vladimir Tarasenko, he can still find a way to score in double-digits, including goals.
This season, he shot at a 10.6 % percentage, scoring 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists), and could bring a physical edge missing in the lineup.

Anthony Mantha, Calgary Flames

Mantha would be a retread for the Detroit Red Wings. But if he plays like he did prior to his injury with the Calgary Flames, he could give the Wings some meaningful depth in the bottom-six.
Mantha scored four goals in 13 games with the Flames, with an astounding 26.7 shooting percentage.
Is it worth a round 2?

Jeff Skinner, Edmonton Oilers

Skinner would make an excellent addition to the Red Wings' middle-six. He'll easily find a way to replace the lost scoring in 2024-2025, as with the Oilers, he produced 29 points in 76 games.
While way past his prime, he could find a way to produce more than he has in Edmonton, taking second-fiddle to Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid.
He may not be the former 30-goal scorer in Buffalo, but he could wind up being successful in Todd McLellan's system.
