Detroit Red Wings make a major roster announcement and there are several new additions

Things are looking quite positive for the Detroit Red Wings' upcoming season, which sparked by a blockbuster trade where the Red Wings acquired John Gibson, a true number-one goaltender.

Other new faces are expected to make a push for the NHL roster, and a recent announcement confirmed it.

With the release of the 2025 development camp roster and on-ice training sessions beginning today at the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena, several new faces will take the ice:
