How does Yzerman feel about Eiserman?
Although potential draft pick Cole Eiserman would sound really good playing in Detroit because of his last name, we take an in depth look on how the organization views this player.
When breaking down his offensive capabilities, Eiserman is easily one of the most talented players ahead of the 2024 NHL draft. Eiserman is a skilled player that encompasses all the facets of a well rounded game. There's a good chance that he might be gone by the time the Red Wings select 15th overall. But if by chance he's still available, sources are saying the Wings should jump on him.
Anyone who has followed the USNTDP or the stars who have come out of the program is aware that Eiserman broke the goal-scoring record formerly held by Cole Caufield (126). He finished with 127 goals in 119 games with Team USA. He is not a one-trick pony, either. Unafraid to shoot from anywhere on the ice, Eiserman is a threat to opposing goaltenders whenever he has the puck on his stick. With the highly anticipated NHL draft right around the corner, the Red Wings have an extremely tough selection to make. Historically, selecting 15th overall has proven difficult, but in the case of Cole Eiserman, the decision is a no brainer.
