Moritz Seider's offseason decision is gaining traction across the web

Recently, defenseman, Moritz Seider, was spotted enjoying his rare break from his NHL commitments at the 2025 BOSS opening.

The Boss tournament, held from June 9 to the 15, at the Tennis Club Weissenhof, is a ATP 250 event that attract plenty of the top tennis talent's from around the world.

The 2025 lineup feature's notable players including Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, and Frances Tiafoe.

While Seider is known for his leadership on the ice, he appeared to be enjoying this high-level competition and the atmosphere of the event.

His attendance at this year's Boss opening reveals Seider's appreciation for athletic excellence beyond the ice, and the Red Wings' fan-base has undoubtedly acknowledged that.

Despite there being no official announcement of whether or not Seider is participating in any ceremonial roles, he was in fact seen taking part in a game played outside of the event that showcased some of his football skills.

Coincidently enough, the game as hosted by the Detroit Lions.

Seider is coming off an extremely solid season, where he participated in all 82 games, recording 8 goals, 38 assists, and totalling at 46 points.

During the 2024/25 NHL season, he showcased his impressive all-around playing abilities by contributing 162 shots on net, as well as 25:04 minutes of ice time per game.

This just goes to show how much appreciation Seider has for the sports world.
