According to a new report from ESPN's Emily Kaplan, elements within the Red Wings dressing room aren't pleased that GM Steve Yzerman didn't add more to the team at the Trade Deadline.

The Detroit Red Wings are in the midst of another tough outing, this time against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Vegas took their 3-0 loss to the Red Wings last week personally, and they've taken out their frustration on them by exploding for 5 goals through the 1st 40 minutes at T-Mobile Arena, leading Detroit 5-2 on the back of a hat trick from Tomas Hertl.
Before tonight's game, which is being broadcast nationally, a report from ESPN's Emily Kaplan spelled concern for Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman.
As she put it, there are elements within the Red Wings' dressing room that were displeased that Yzerman didn't add additional talent to the roster at the Trade Deadline.
Prior to the game Emily Kaplan said how unlike last year when the Wings felt management had faith in the team and how Kane believed in what they had this year wasn't much the same. As the locker room was disappointed that management did not add anything.
Yzerman did make a puzzling trade, acquiring goaltender Petr Mrazek (the worst statistical goaltender in the NHL with more than 10 games played since December) and 4th line forward Craig Smith.
Mrazek has gone 2-2 since being re-acquired by the Red Wings, while Craig Smith has zero points in the 5 games he's played in since the deal.
Detroit's divisional foe Ottawa Senators picked up Dylan Cozens from the Buffalo Sabres (after he was previously linked to the Red Wings); ironically, he scored the game-winner against Detroit for Ottawa earlier in the month.
The Lightning re-acquired Yanni Gourde along with Oliver Bjorkstrand from the Seattle Kraken, albeit at a steep cost. Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs acquired Scott Laughton and Brandon Carlo.
All indications point toward another year with no playoffs for the Red Wings, and an ever growing percentage of the fan base is having their patience with the so-called "Yzerplan" dwindle.
