The Detroit Red Wings' forward Lucas Raymond responded to the NHL Department of Player Safety for the lack of repercussions for Jonas Siegenthaler's dirty hit on him in a press conference.

The Red Wings have had a rough week so far, with two straight losses to the New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators.
Todd McLellan's group has yet to perform well, especially after suffering a dwelling loss to the Predators and looking deflated after a tough game in New Jersey.
Indeed, in the third period against the Devils, things got heated to a point where the NHL had to get involved: Ben Chiarot was fined for butt-ending Simon Nemec in a scrum.
But this all came after a dirty hit from Jonas Siegenthaler on Lucas Raymond went unpunished, which ignited things on the ice.

If you missed it, check it out:
The referees didn't call anything on the ice, and the NHL didn't announce further discipline on Siegenthaler.
Here's what Raymond had to say about that:
"I was disappointed that nothing came out of it during the game. I think after the game it doesn't really matter for me, the game was over. It is what it is, it's not up to me. Obviously I didn't think it was a clean hit, but it's whatever."

"I was looking the other way. Obviously I didn't see him, so it's tough to be prepared. But it is what it is, it's hockey and it's fast out there."

Raymond was still able to take part in the next game, even scoring an assist in the game against the Nashville Predators 48 hours after the hit.
