New rumors have surfaced, speculating that the Detroit Red Wings organization is set to acquire a 6-foot-4 power forward from a divisional rival, the Montreal Canadiens.
It is evident that the Detroit Red Wings are in dire need of adding another top-six forward to complement their scoring for the 2025/26 NHL season, as they intend to become bigger competitors.
This top-six forward would ideally land as a second-line center, however, if one isn't available, a scoring winger would be the organization's next-best option.
