Winnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor is dropping hints in this video as he fanboys over Steve Yzerman and other Red Wings forwards, that the team should bring him home to Michigan!.

Kyle Connor had an exceptional year with the Winnipeg Jets. He scored a total of 97 points (41 goals, 56 assists) and made it to the second round of the NHL playoffs with the Jets.
The former Michigan Wolverine was seen in an interview making his own Mount Rushmore of the best forwards in the NHL.
The interesting thing which included all Detroit Red Wings, including Pavel Datsyuk, Steve Yzerman, and Patrick Kane.
Makes us ponder what he was really thinking about! Is it possible for the Red Wings to call in on the availability of Kyle Connor?
Connor's contract with the Jets ends at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 NHL season, which pays him $7.142 million AAV.
According to The Athletic's Murat Ates, the team isn't going to let Connor go without an extension. GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has explicitly stated that they will enter negotiations with the forward in July.
Could Steve Yzerman find a way to pry the elite forward from Winnipeg? The former 17th overall pick in 2015 is a former All-Star and would look great wearing the winged wheel.
The former Shelby Township, MI-born forward was selected by Winnipeg in the 1st-round of the 2015 NHL Draft. A loaded draft class by any means.
Connor and the Jets were eliminated from the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs by Peter DeBoer's Dallas Stars in Game 6.
Bring him home, Steve.
