The hockey world has lost another one of our own, as 29 year old Tristan Perreault-Gagnon has died.

Once again, the hockey world mourns the loss of another one of our own far too early.
29 year old Tristan Perreault-Gagnon, who played in the Federal Prospects Hockey League, has passed away.
His brother Mario Duqette, who played with him on the Gatineau Flames of the QJHL, posted the following heartfelt tribute :
My brother I love you yesterday you were still with us texting each other laughing.

Your departure hurts me. We made it into hockey clubs together, great friends evenings with the boys. You were blessed to see my 2 oldest just when you were about to take your life back into your hands. I remember how you thought you were going to make it out of misery. You left Brossard for Sherbrooke and found a nice job, became sober with a beautiful blonde who loved you. Last month you were telling me about your credit being excellent again, that you had money on the side, that you were quietly preparing to become a homeowner, that was your goal for 30 years.
I've always been there for you like you have been there for me got jobs even worked 3 times together at Ford's and my garage I've never been more ready for someone 😭
I am speechless that such a nice, good guy could leave us abruptly.

Hockey made us cross paths and became brothers today I wish I could have given you one last pass like in time😭

I love you 🤍💔

Perreault-Gagnon's best output came in 2015-16, scoring 33 points (15G, 18A) in 47 games played.
another touching tribute came from former coach Mitch R. Gagne:

I'm in absolute shock right now to see the posts about one of the nicest guys/player I've ever had a chance to meet and coach pass away.

Tristan Perreault-Gagnon the line of you Storm and Kenny Neil in our finals of the first year of the EOSHL was such a key part to our Championship.

I am at a loss for words as the ones above gained a good one way to damn soon 😢
Rest easy speedster...
