A major development in Patrick Kane leaving the Detroit Red Wings: He has just informed the organization
Troubling news was afoot this past week as Patrick Kane, a three-time Stanley Cup-champion with the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings forward, was reportedly eying an exit from the organization.
Free agency is set to begin on July 1st, next Tuesday.
For the Detroit Red Wings, they need to keep building a team that is capable of becoming a Stanley Cup contender.
Yet for Patrick Kane, his future appeared in the air, as Max Bultman of The Athletic shared some disgruntling news for Red Wings fans:
