Come on, not again! The Red Wings have lost captain Dylan Larkin to injury, and it remains to be seen how severe it is.

Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin may have scored just seconds into the contest tonight against the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena, but now there's a chance he won't finish it and could even be out longer.
During a late 2nd period power play for Detroit, Larkin suffered an undisclosed injury and had to depart the game.
Right now, there's been no official update from the Red Wings regarding Larkin's condition.
Just seconds into the 1st period, Larkin scored on a bank-shot from a ridiculous angle below the goal line, deflecting the puck off the side of Logan Thompson's mask and into the net for the opening score:
Larkin, who also scored Detroit's 1st goal in last night's 4-2 setback at Little Caesars Arena against the Utah Hockey Club, has 55 points (26G, 29A) in 62 games this year.
Last year, the Red Wings lost Larkin for several games staring in late February after he was hurt against the divisional foe Florida Panthers, which sent them into a 7-game tailspin.
Fans everywhere are hoping that this latest injury to Larkin, who has already missed multiple games throughout his career with various health issues, isn't of the serious variety.
They'll need Larkin and everyone on the roster to be at full healthy in their chase for their 1st playoff spot since 2016; losing Larkin for any amount of time would represent a serious blow to those already shaky chances.
