Detroit Red Wings divisional rival could look to acquire Jason Robertson for a low-cost price tag
The cost of Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson has been made known if a trade were to be facilitated in the hands of the Detroit Red Wings' divisional rival.
Jason Robertson of the Dallas Stars remains a viable trade candidate, and he's been tied to the Detroit Red Wings multiple times so far this summer, even though no deal has happened yet.
Detroit isn't the only team potentially interested in Robertson, as their divisional foe Toronto Maple Leafs could be in the running for him, especially after they lost a major chunk of their offense following the blockbuster sign and trade of Mitch Marner to the Vegas Golden Knights for Nick Roy.
Per Hockey Patrol, a potential trade package for the Maple Leafs to get Robertson from the Stars could go something like this:
To Toronto:
(F) Jason Robertson
To Dallas:
(F) Bobby McMann
(D) Brandon Carlo
(F) Matias Maccelli
2026 3rd Round Pick
2027 2nd Round Pick

Earlier in the summer, NHL analyst Pierre LeBrun disclosed the kind of package that the Stars would want in return for Robertson.
Pierre LeBrun: If Dallas trades Jason Robertson, they want future assets in return, they want to clear some cap space, and do a few other things - TSN.
Jason Robertson has a year left on his contract
Robertson can become an RFA after the upcoming season. He was signed to a 4-year contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $7,750,000 in 2022.
This year with the Stars, Robertson had 80 points (35G, 45A).
