Patrick Kane nominated for Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy
In light of Kane's commitment and emotion to the game, he has been nominated by the Detroit Red Wings for the NHL's Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.
The Trophy, which is named after Bill Masterton, is awarded to the league's player who shows perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey the best.
Masterton is the only player in NHL history to pass away as a direct result of injuries suffered during a game.
This is a big, prestigious honor for Kane, and he truly deserves it.
