Hockey fans are mourning the saddened passing of Tomas Kloucek, who is a former NHL player, at the age of 45 following a tragic ski accident in Medvedin, Czech Republic.

The hockey community is stunned by the loss of a former longtime player, following a reported ski accident in Czech Republic.
Tomas Kloucek was a longtime hockey player who suited up for the New York Rangers, Nashville Predators and Atlanta Thrashers from 2000-2006.
He played in over 25+ seasons throughout his career, including a Calder Cup win in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Hartford Wolf Pack in 2000.

Cause of Tomas Kloucek's death

It is being reported that a freak accident took place, while Tomas was skiing, he struck an electric switchboard.
Kloucek has a storied career throughout his pro-hockey times, playing all over the world:
Klouček scored 10 (2+8) points in 141 career games in the NHL with the New York Rangers, Nashville Predators, and Atlanta Thrashers from 2000-2006. He also played professionally for the Hartford Wolf Pack, Milwaukee Admirals, Chicago Wolves Syracuse Crunch, HC Zlin, Barys Astana, Lev Poprad, HC Oceláři Třinec, HC Kosice, Orli Znojmo, Rytiři Kladno, and Wildcats d'Épinal, up until retirement in 2017.
