Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Kane has set another milestone in his NHL career, as he's recorded his 17th 20-goal season in an 18-year career in the league.

Patrick Kane is elite, and never stops reminding us why he's one of the best American-born forwards in the NHL.
Tonight, he added another milestone to his eighteen-year NHL career, which has only seen him suit up for three teams, including the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Rangers.
While he's won three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, he set an amazing record.
This season was the 17th year in which he recorded a 20-goal season, and this time it was with the Detroit Red Wings.
This put him past another great American-born forward who is considered one of the greatest to do it, Mike Modano.
His goal tonight would put the Red Wings above the Hurricanes 3-1. Kane's goal, which was scored at 9:05 into the second period, was his 20th of the season and was unassisted.
This puts him up to 53 points this season (20 goals, 33 assists) in 65 games played as a Red Wing.
The last time Kane scored under 20 goals was during the 2020-2021 shortened season, with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Kane has played 1,295 games in the NHL and scored 1337 points (491 goals, 846 assists) during his 18-year career.
The Red Wings are 34-33-7 and 6th in the Atlantic Division under Head Coach Todd McLellan.
Can Kane keep the Wings from getting caught in the whirlwind of the Hurricanes?
