No Call On Brady Tkachuk Leads To Ottawa Senators Goal Against the Red Wings
At 7:07 in the 1st-period in the Red Wings game against the Ottawa Senators, we saw another example of bad officiating in the NHL, as Brady Tkachuk demolished Lucas Raymond, and led to a goal thanks to no call on the play.
The Detroit Red Wings are outnumbered tonight by the Ottawa Senators and NHL officiating. As the reign of terror by the zebras continues tonight, after missed calls in last night's games.
Tonight we saw the Ottawa Senators open the scoring by defenseman
Thomas Chabot at 5:49 into the first period.
The
Red Wings would attempt to keep themselves in the game by creating a scoring chance near the neutral zone.
However, like Brady Tkachuk, he creates terror on the ice intentionally, and tonight referees missed a penalty which saw him run over
Lucas Raymond.
That would lead to an odd-man rush and another Senators goal by
Tim Stutzle.
Instead of calling a penalty for tripping or roughing, Tkachuk gets away with it, and the Senators get a goal.
The Ottawa Senators lead the Detroit
Red Wings 2-0 at the end of the 1st-period thanks to the referees.
What's troubling about the whole situation is that Lucas Raymond could've easily been injured due to Tkachuk's carelessness throughout the entire play.
Where is Bob Probert when you need him?
