The Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Kane could complete a historic career milestone on Tuesday against the New York Islanders

On Tuesday against the New York Islanders, the Detroit Red Wings fans could witness history with Patrick Kane completing NHL history in action.
That is forward Patrick Kane, who is set to complete a historic career milestone as he's only 2 goals away from 500 goals scored in his NHL career.
His 498th goal came against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, with an assist from Alex DeBrincat. The goal helped the Red Wings shut out the Blackhawks in Saturday's 4-0 win.
Against the New York Islanders on Tuesday, we could witness "Showtime" come alive in Little Caesars Arena. With his amazing stickhandling abilities, he could find a way to achieve history in front of the home crowd.
If he manages to score those two goals that night, that would make him the 50th player in NHL history to score 500 career goals.

The Detroit Red Wings' American-born legend, Patrick Kane set to achieve a historic milestone in the NHL

With two more goals scored in the next week, whether it's on Tuesday or another day, Kane has solidified himself as a future Hockey Hall of Famer.
We're certain that they're keeping a booth warm for him in Toronto. When he does hang up his skates, he'll join other legendary forwards in the Hall, like Mike Modano, whom he's surpassed with career milestones as a member of the Red Wings.
In addition to possibly becoming the 50th NHL player to score 500 goals, he could surpass other NHL legends.
If he manages to score 8 points, he'll tie both Boston Bruins forward Johnny Bucyk and former Red Wings forward Mike Modano in career points scored with 1,374. He now stands at 1,366, and it'll take only 9 points to surpass them both.
