The Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings are set to faceoff tonight at 7:00 p.m ET, in their fourth and final meeting between the two teams of the season.

In their last meeting, https://www.nhl.com/senators/ goaltender Linus Ullmark made a season-high 48 saves to carry his team to a 2-1 win over Red Wings.
As the two teams battle for their fourth matchup of the season, the Red Wings are the hungrier team to earn two points.
In their last meetup on March 10th in Ottawa at the Canadian Tire Centre, controversy emerged when the Red Wings would bury the puck in the net to tie the game.
But the call was overturned, despite their celebrations that they forced overtime, the clock was ultimately at 0 seconds remaining.
When fans analyzed the play, it appears the scorekeeper stopping the time clock during the whistles let the clock run out on the play prior to their goal at 0 seconds.
Meaning just a split second more, which was taken off the clock by the scorekeeper, would've granted the Red Wings a guaranteed point and a potential two to be earned in overtime.

Josh Norris scored twice for the Senators, while Drake Batherson picked up a pair of assists and Linus Ullmark made 19 saves for a .950% save percentage in net. The Red Wings took the next game in Detroit on January 7 by a score of 3-2 in overtime.
