Patrick Kane has been one of the best signings by Steve Yzerman, 57 points this season, and has hit a career milestone in Detroit.
Patrick Kane will have a milestone to celebrate tonight, as he will have played his 1300th game in the NHL. He'll be battling against the Dallas Stars, who are cup contenders this season, as the Wings look to salvage what's left of the year.
For Kane, one of the best American-born forwards in the game, this is just a cherry on top of a career defined by longevity.
He's won three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks and has seen playoff time the majority of his career.
Speaking of success, he's had quite a bit of it here in Detroit, as he's added another 20+ goal season to his statistics, scoring 57 points (21 Goals, 36 Assists).
Kane has been a bright spot on a team that is looking to its yesteryear when it comes to glory.
As they've remained out of the playoffs for yet another season, despite Kane's best efforts in
Detroit.
His one-year, $4 million AAV deal will expire with the Detroit Red Wings in July as a UFA. With the ongoing youth movement in the Red Wings organization, will

Kane has played a total of 1300 games in the NHL and scored 1,341 points (492 goals, 849 assists). He's been a member of the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings.
He was also nominated for the 2024-2025 Bill Masterton Trophy Award.
